Apsom Infotex Limited, a leading
provider of advanced digital printing solutions and the Sole partner of Roland
DG in India, announced the showcase of the Roland TY-300 Direct-to-Film
(DTF) printer at Media Expo Mumbai, taking place from 9–11 April
2026.
The Roland TY-300 has been
engineered expressly to meet the evolving demands of the high-volume apparel
customization. The TY-300 sets a new benchmark in DTF printing delivering industry-leading
print speeds, up to 75 linear feet per hour in high-speed mode with pinpoint colour accuracy and
robust automation in a single production n platform.
Powered by a dual-printhead
architecture and optimized firing control, the printer ensures stable CMYK
+ White layering with minimal grain and banding, delivering nearly 50%
higher productivity compared to many comparable DTF printers.
Color accuracy and visual impact are
enhanced through Roland DG’s True Rich Color® technology, which delivers
a broader color gamut, smoother gradients, and more stable gray balance. The
system’s four-cartridge white ink configuration guarantees uniform
opacity across large designs and dense print areas while maintaining crisp
edges and fine details even at higher speeds.
Consistent uptime is a prerequisite in high-demand
print shops, and Roland DG has engineered the TY-300 accordingly. An advanced automatic
maintenance system keeps the printer performing at its best through three
layers of intelligent care:
Continuous ink circulation
— white ink stays in motion, preventing sedimentation and clogging
Scheduled printhead refresh cycles
— automated routines preserve head health and extend printhead life
User-replaceable maintenance components — routine servicing is fast, accessible, and requires no specialist intervention.
Together, these features minimize downtime, reduce maintenance
overhead, and give operators confidence that the machine will perform reliably,
shift after shift.
For businesses aiming to scale
production, the printer can also be integrated with an optional shaker and
dryer unit, automating the powder application and curing process for a
fully streamlined DTF workflow suitable for high-volume apparel decoration.
The printer uses Roland DG’s S-PG2
inks, which are OEKO-TEX® ECO PASSPORT certified, supporting
compliance with global textile safety standards. These inks are formulated to
deliver excellent wash durability, reduced ink consumption, and lower operating
costs, making the TY-300 a reliable long-term investment for garment
decorators.
